Product Review of Dial NutriSkin Replenishing Lotion
I am a hand lotion fanatic with a million and one bottles, tubs and tubes of the stuff scattered everywhere around my house.I stumbled across Dial NutriSkin Replenishing Lotion completely by accident and am glad I did because I love this product!
As an avid couponer, I love finding high value coupons for new products to try. There is no brand loyalty here so unless I have used a product before and just simply hated it, I will buy it when it goes on sale and I have a coupon for it.That’s how this lotion came into my hands. There was a $2.00 coupon released a few months ago and Walmart sells the 3fl. Oz. size of this lotion for $1.98 which means it was free.I picked up 5 of them because they are perfect purse size lotions and all of my other lotions are way too large to comfortably carry in my purse.
The first thing I noticed about this lotion when I used it is the scent. It reminds me of Johnson’s Baby Lotion with a slight baby powder mixed with botanical smell to it.The lotion is thicker than a lot of the lotions out there and doesn’t do that melting action when it hits the palm of your hand.It stays together which means it takes less product for the same result.Surprisingly one tube has lasted over a month even with daily use.
It is important to read the labels in skin products if you have any allergies or sensitive skin. This product contains shea butter and fragrance for those of you with overly sensitive skin.Fragrance can sometimes irritate severely dry skin too so it’s important to know that when choosing a lotion. It also contains Omega 3 & 6 to support moisture balance, Vitamin F to improve elasticity, Vitamins A, C and E as Antioxidant Agents and Amino Acids as Protein Building Blocks. In other words, this lotion has a lot of really good stuff in it!
The label suggests that it lasts 24 hours but I unfortunately can not really confirm or deny that fact because of hand washing.I do a lot of dishes and cleaning every day so my hands are constantly in a cycle of being wet then applying more lotion.I will say that my hands definitely aren’t dried out at all but this isn’t the only lotion I use over the course of the day either.
Would I buy this product again? Most certainly! It’s a great product that as far as I can tell delivers on what it says it will.It smells nice, is high quality for the retail price and is available in many different sizes for convenience.Way to go Dial, you did it right with this one!
