Product Review of Breathe Right Advanced Nasal Strips

We have all at some point in our lives had a stuffy nose. Whether it be from allergies, the flu or a cold, a stuffy nose can make sleep extremely difficult. Breathe Right strips are advertised as being able to open up your nose to making breathing much easier for everything from the common cold to snoring.

I have used these strips on and off for years. When I heard there was now an "Advanced" type, I thought I'd give them a try when I had my next cold. I for one hate trying to sleep when my nose is stuffed up and the regular ones worked well for me in the past.

Low and behold, I caught a cold. The first night that it became almost unbearable to fall asleep I remembered that I had recently purchased a box of the new strips. They are easy to open, which is good for when you aren't in the best of moods from being sick.

I followed the directions and placed the strip on the bridge of my nose. The strip itself is quite sticky on the bottom side so it did stick to my fingers quite well while trying to put it on the bridge of my nose. As soon as I was able to remove my fingers after pressing the strip in place, the magic began immediately. These things are AMAZING for actually opening up your nose to make it easier to breathe. In combination with the nasal spray that I was using, I was able to fall asleep breathing easier and slept like a baby all through the night.

The next morning, I pulled the strip off to reveal what it had actually done to the skin on my nose. Where the strip had been attached to the skin, there were these odd looking bruise like areas. It is as if the blood had been pulled to the surface. I was able to cover it completely with foundation makeup but it was a little startling when I first saw it none the less. There was no pain associated with the discoloration, it just looked like I had a hickie on the bridge of my nose.

YES. Even though there was the issue of the bruising (the old strips didn't do that), I would still buy these and use them again. When your nose is stopped up to the point that you literally can't stand it and can't sleep, the chance of a little bruising is a small price to pay for relief and feeling better!
