Product Review- Nivea -A Kiss of Intense Moisture Medicated Healing Lip Repair

Nivea is well known for their body wash, lotions and lip balms. As an avid couponer, I am always happy to see a coupon released for their products and when I received one a few months ago for Nivea Lip Care, I went directly for this one.

I have been consistently using the same tube for approximately 3 months when my lips become dry or chapped and have to say, it is living up to my expectations. It is medicated so if your lips have become severely chapped this will not only relieve the uncomfortable feeling, it will help to heal them.

It doesn't apply like a regular chap stick would. The tube contains a white gel that comes out on a lip stick shaped tip that is applied as you move it back and forth over your lips. If you aren't used to this type of product, it can get messy extremely quick.

The thing to remember when applying the Nivea A Kiss of Intense Moisture Medicated Healing Lip Repair is to squeeze the tube GENTLY. Less is more with this one and if you aren't careful, you'll end up with a white toned mess on your mouth which is not attractive at all.

Since this is a medicated, intense moisture product, the flavor is not good at all if you by chance get any of it on your tongue or lick your lips after applying it. It isn't Bonnie Bell Bubblegum lip gloss or Chap Stick. This is serious stuff meant to take care of business more than make you look good.

This Nivea lip product really does live up to the promises that it makes. I consistently use it more often when my lips show signs of drying out and within a few days, everything is back to the way it should be. This product can even be easily applied and worn under any lip color that you may like. Yes, it really is just that good!
